Toms and Keds

Keds and Toms are super trendy in Honduras, they have been for a while now. I have never been a sneakers kind of girl, but I've seen a lot girls really rockin´ their Keds with jeans, leggins, shorts and even skirts, after all, they have been around for almost a 100 years. Same thing with Toms, some people even wear them to destination weddings at the beach.

I first came across these kind of shoes when my boyfriend (now husband) came back from Argentina with canvas and rope sole shoes called "Alpargatas", the traditional Argentine shoe, also known as espadrilles. A couple of years later Toms are all over, on guys, gals and kids. I love Toms for their style, but even more for their "Toms movement"  see for every pair you purchase, another pair will be donated to a child in need. They have even come to Honduras to donate the shoes so it´s a great way to give back because it helps children from all over the world.

Which one do you like?

My favorite Keds!
