Entertaining ♥ Wine Night Makeover

1. Kalamata Olives & Onion Pita Sandwich 2. Hummus from Cook Eat Live Vegetarian (recipe and pic)
3. Tomato & Feta Cheese Bruschetta 4. Cream Cheese and Olive Spread

Wine and Cheese is definitely my kind of thing, but it can get old sometimes. And let´s face it, you might have a guest who is lactose intolerant or on a diet, so it´s nice to offer something different. I have thought of some options to spice things up during wine night or any other night that requires entertaining:

  1. A  Crudité Platter with Dips: Serve with an onion, ranch dip or hummus.
  2. Salami, palmito (hearts of palm), and canned baby corn platter. You can cut beforehand and serve with toothpicks
  3. Marinated mushroom slices or olives and crackers. Great and can be made ahead.
  4. A variety of Bruschetta. Who doesn’t love them?
  5. Kalamata Olives and Onion Pita Sandwiches. You can get smaller sized pita bread at Delipan, perfect for parties.
  6. Hummus and Pita: Yummy and super healthy for dieters and vegetarians. It has about 25 calories per serving and each serving size a tablespoon.
  7. Cream Cheese and Olives Spread and Crackers.
You can mix and match these options and hey, you can always have cheese anyways ;)
